Registration is closed

This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification.  To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip.Narrative: Join Rich Becker and me for a paddle up the Multnomah Channel. We'll be launching from the Scappoose Bay Paddling Center at 10:30 am and heading upstream keeping Sauvie Island on our left. This is a quiet natural area with opportunities to view the river landscapes and wildlife. Our turn around point will be 4 to 5 miles upriver. There we will take a snack break before heading back downstream to our launch. Total trip miles will be approximately 9 miles. Weather is difficult to predict at this time of year, but our plan is to paddle rain or shine. Only high winds and or thunderstorms will cancel our plans.
