Narrative: Tour this small lake while playing skill-building & just-for-fun games.
Coffenbury Lake is a typical coastal lake, formed decades ago between dunes by receiving its water from rain, snow, and irrigation. The 1-mile long lake does not have any inlets or outlets. The north end is deeper and a bit wider.
Expect to get wet if “dead fish” start flying! But, generally, the games will be easy and fun. You’ll need a day pass or annual pass if you haven’t checked into a campsite. Bathrooms are near the boat launch. Coffenbury Lake has two swimming areas, a picnic area, & restrooms near the boat ramp at the north end - our launch area. {{ Yes, most everything here is a copy of the trip posted for Wednesday by Chris Mayou. Chris used my idea, now I'm using her posting. Big difference, mine will be more fun.
Some may need or want to wear dry suits for part of the games, no kayak required. If you have a quick release tow line, please bring it.
