This trip is limited to members who are WEC. Registration for every trip is always conditional upon final approval by the TO. The TO may communicate with you to assess whether your skills & equipment are appropriate for the conditions.

Registration will likely take place at the Event site, at a meeting the evening before. However, if it is determined to enable registration on-line in advance of the Event, everyone attending the Event will be notified and everyone will be wait-listed to facilitate the TO's assessment

Narrative: Come join us on this Ocean Paddle to explore the spectacular scenery of Ecola State Park.

Launching from Indian Beach a location which is afforded some protection by Tillamook Head. We'll take our time exploring and playing around the many coastal features in this area which include a large natural arch and numerous rock features. This area is one of the most photographed on the Oregon Coast; come see how it's even more stunning from the water.

The launch from here includes bringing the boats down a set of stairs from the parking area we will stage our empty boats at the top of the stairs and work together to get them down. This area is one of the most photographed on the Oregon Coast, come see how it is even more stunning from the water.
The drive from our campsites at Fort Stevens is 45 minutes to the launch. Be sure to bring your camping tag or state park pass as the same state parking fees apply.
