This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification (except for level 1 trips when the paddler is not using a spray skirt). To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group, if you intend to wear a spray skirt. Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.
Narrative: This is a very easy paddle from Corvallis to Albany. Paddle is 12 miles long. There’s always a chance to see deer, eagles, fish, otter and other wild life. With the water level still above summer levels, we don’t expect to see any ripples above Hyatt Park and no shallows above Bryant.
Put in is behind the old Michaels Landing Restaurant, 603 NW 2nd St Corvallis, OR 97330. Take out is Bryant's Park, 801 Bryant Way SW, Albany, OR 97321. Both put in and take out are nice long beaches.
Plenty of spots to stop. Will probably have lunch at Half Moon Bend Landing.
We will all meet at Michaels Landing, the shuttle will start at 10 am, so please be ready.
