This trip is limited to OOPS members who are WEC.   As with all trips & classes at Events, registration will take place at the HQ campsite.
Narrative: We'll meet at John Wayne Marina (45 minutes from camp, free launch at South parking lot) at 10 o'clock for 10:30 put in. We'll paddle clockwise along the spit and see whether the tide is high enough to allow us to go into the lagoon. If not we can as a group decide to wait or paddle on. Whether we explore the lagoon or not, we’ll continue paddling clockwise. At Goose Point, we’ll decide whether to continue the full circumnavigation or to cut across the Bay to Schoolhouse Point. From schoolhouse point, whether we circumnavigate or not, we'll head back to the marina.
