Activity Title:
 Class: Kayak Boot Camp
Date of Activity:  5/17/2018
Narrative: Alright everybody! It's time to whip your skills into shape for the upcoming summer season! This "Boot Camp" will focus on revising and perfecting your paddle skills (stroke and directional control), edging, bracing, balance, and will also add some games and "bragging rights" skills included to help you become more comfortable in and on and around your kayak! We will be spending a lot of time getting in and out of our kayaks, and falling out of them and off of them, so be sure to wear proper immersion gear, and a helmet is mandatory also. We will probably also be doing some towing relay races so bring a tow line (long line and contact tow line) if you have them (and if you don't have them, you should get them!).
We will meet at Vancouver Lake Park where the grass and sand meet directly in front of the bathrooms, and the class will be done out in the water at the beach.
