Narrative: Please join Marlene and Alan for a journey along the Washington Coast near Bellingham, about a 35-45 min drive from Deception Pass. We'll depart DP Campground at 0900, Reach Larabee SP about 1000, and launch from Larrabee State Park at 1045 AM, hug the scenic coast, round Governor's Point and explore Pleasant Bay and parts of Chuckanut Bay. After exploring the Bays, we'll head for Chuckanut Island for lunch. With an anticipated tail wind in the afternoon, we'll return to Larabee SP for our egress. Perhaps we can stop at a clam and oyster restaurant on the return road trip!!
