Narrative: Paddle the beautiful North Fork Reservoir in winter. The lake has stunning vertical cliffs with multiple waterfalls and other scenery to match. North Fork Reservoir is 350 acres of beautiful scenery bordering on the Mt Hood National Forest. This time of year we are likely to be the only ones on the water. We are planning on 3-4 hours of paddling in the 6-8 mile range. As we paddle south into the Clackamas River we will encounter some mild to moderate current which can be just plain fun to negotiate or we can turn before significant current and ride gently back.
