Narrative: It looks like we may have a weather window for this coming Saturday and here is a chance to get on the water. We will launch from Willamette Park in West Linn at 10 AM and head upriver to the Narrows. The river gauge is at 58.9 feet and could possibly rise a bit by Saturday. We can practice in the currents and eddies in the Narrows and explore that area. There is also the option to continue upriver a bit further before heading back. I would expect paddlers will have some moderate currents in the Narrows and should be somewhat comfortable with these conditions. There will be options to opt-out of the stronger current if needed. Weather looks promising with less than 20% chance of showers and mild wind. High temp of 55. Bring snacks/lunch/water. We will make at least one stop along the way.
