Narrative: Join me for my third and final Mentored Trip to become a Trip Organizer! Arrive at 9:30 to be ready to launch from West Linn Willamette Park at 10 am. We'll paddle up the west side of the river, going behind the small rock island to the right and continuing on past Rock Island to a convenient stop for lunch (possibly crossing to the east side to lunch on the small beach just north of Rock Island). After lunch we can do a little exploring to see how well we can get through the rocks in The Narrows and find our way back out to the main channel for our return to the boat launch. Total distance 5-6 miles depending on the exact route. We should be back at the boat launch by 1:30-2:00.
