Narrative: You know the routine! Round-trip from Sellwood Riverfront Park, clock-wise around Ross Island. The bonus? A free concert when we return! Part of the City of Portland’s free concert series, Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps play “soul-drenched blues.” (Of course, it's optional to stay for the concert.) Bring your kayak gear, a picnic dinner, and a lawn chair. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. We’ll  launch at 3 p.m. & be off the water around 5:30 p.m.  On our return, we’re paddling upstream against the current & the tail end of the ebbing tide. But look on the bright side—we’ll likely have a beach to land on when we return. Here is the performer's website:  http://www.teresajames.com/
