Narrative: Starting at the Gilbert River Boat Ramp on Sauvie Island, paddle the Little McNary lakes chain and portage into Pete's Slough. Paddle across Sturgeon Lake to the Gilbert River Wash, and explore the Gilbert River system back into Sturgeon Lake. Return following Ebb tide back to the Gilbert River Boat Ramp.
YOU WILL NEED A VALID SAUVIE ISLAND PARKING PERMIT, Available at the Cracker Barrel store, or wherever fishing licenses are sold including BiMart and Fred Meyer.

Landing types: Level 2: Frequent landing opportunities including docks or moderate sloping banks, brush or overhanging trees
