This trip is limited to OOPS members who are WEC.  To register, you'll need to log into your member account on the OOPS website.

Narrative: Clockwise circumnavigation of Bachelor Island from Ridgefield Kayak Launch (not the marina). Initial part of the journey will be downstream on Lake River, then upstream against the current in the Bachelor Island Slough. We'll enter the Columbia from the Slough & enjoy the current assist to the end of the Island. We'll then turn East & paddle against Lake River's current back to the launch site.
Lunch stop wil be along one of the idyllic sandy beaches. Bring snacks, lunch, drinks & binoculars for closer inspection of wildlife.
