Narrative: Clockwise circumnavigation of Bachelor Island from Ridgefield Kayak Launch and return. Initial part of journey will be downstream on the Lake River, then against the current on the SW Bachelor Island Sough. Enter the Columbia from the slough, and enjoy the current assist to the end of the island. We'll then turn East and paddle against the Lake River current back to the launch site.

Lunch stop along one of the many available sandy beaches...provided they are not all below the water level! Bring some hot drinks, snacks and lunch.

We can work on strokes and maneuvers as paddlers wish.
