Activity Title: Fisher, Walker and Lord Islands, L2, 11-20-22 Date of Activity: 11/20/2022 Narrative: Launching from Willow Grove Park, enjoy a fall paddle around these three islands west of Longview/Kelso. We will take advantage of the flooding tide in the morning to paddle upstream to the east end of Lord Island and then ride the ebb back to the put-in. We'll paddle by lots of sandy beaches and quiet sloughs along with a derelict tank landing ship last used in Vietnam in 1973. If the forecast includes stronger west winds, we may do a loop around Crimms Island and Fisher Island from the same launch instead. This trip is planned to be 14 nautical miles (16.1 statute miles) long. Be prepared for rain and cooler temperatures on this all-day paddle.
