Activity Title: Lincoln City Event: Nestucca Kayak Crabbing, L1, 6-26-22 Date of Activity: 6/26/2022 Narrative: This trip on Nestucca Bay will focus on showcasing the equipment and technique for crabbing from a kayak. Jack Sanders has crabbed here many times and will provide our instruction. There will be additional information put together by Jack and sent out to the Lincoln City Event participants ahead in case they want to get equipment and a license to crab on this paddle - and hopefully take home a few crabs with them. Those wanting to just observe are welcome as well. We'll meet at the Little Nestucca River Boat Ramp at 8:00 and launch at 8:30. We'll head out to the bay, and set the traps, returning somewhat later to check them. We may also explore some in the bay and/or in the Little Nestucca River. The trip length will be perhaps 5 miles and we'll return about noon.
