Full Name: Steve Blackwood Phone: 503-347-7463 Activity Title: Ross Island and Bridges Tour L1, 12-19-21 Date of Activity: 12/19/2021 Narrative: We will put in at Willamette Park off Macadam Street. There is a parking fee of $6 card only. This will be a level one paddle. It is a great time to get out and take a look at the house boats and travel up under the bridges. We may even see eagles and herons. Where else can you enjoy such an urban paddle? It is cold, so paddlers need a dry suit and thermal underlayment. Gloves and something warm on the head. With proper preparation the cold is hardly noticeable. If it rains, we have dry suits on. Really this is a great time to get out and paddle. If you have questions about proper preparation, contact me or Bob Freshman.
