This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification. To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group. Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment. If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip. Narrative: Put in at the Cascade Boat Launch in Stevenson WA. We will paddle up stream about 4 miles exploring the shore line of the Columbia River. Then we will paddle back to our starting point. The weather is predicted to be hot and sunny. Bring water, food and sunscreen. A hat that you can dip in the water and put on to keep your head cool is advisable. This area is prone to have wind. The prediction is for light winds that day but this can change. If the winds get going we may have to find another venue or cancel. The put in has bathrooms but I am not sure they are open due to Covid-19.
